Well - I don't know about your kids, but I enjoyed the heck out of this year's carnival! Rides, slides, games, moon bounce, obstacle course and more! A great way to top off a VERY hot week! A huge shout out to all of our staff for working incredibly hard this week in less than ideal conditions. And an even bigger shout out to our campers for having an awesome time in record heat!

Camp Shabbat |

On Saturday, July 17th, Beth Tfiloh Camps will sponsor the Shabbat service at Beth Tfiloh Congregation on 3300 Old Court Road, Baltimore, 21208. After the service there will be a kiddush luncheon sponsored by the camp. A notice was sent home this week stating an incorrect date. Please make sure to note the correct date of Saturday, July 17th. Services begin at 9:00 a.m. with the Torah service beginning at 9:45 a.m. |

Travel Camp |

Travel Camp is a fabulous new addition to our camp! Our adventurous 5th through 8th graders have traveled all over Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Virginia having tons of fun on special trips! Check out the website for photos of our journeys. We are on a hiatus for weeks 3 and 4, but if you want to join us for weeks 5 and 6, our schedule is on the last page of the PDF version of the newsletter. There are still a few spaces remaining in the Travel Camp program, however, once the bus is filled we can’t take any more campers so if you think you may be interested, contact camp at 410.517.3451. |

Picture Day |

On Tuesday, July 13th, campers who were either not enrolled or not present in camp for Camp Photo Day on Tuesday, June 29th will have the opportunity to have an individual photo taken. Please dress your camper in a camp T-Shirt. Sorry, but we are unable to retake bunk photos, and this photo day is not a “retake” day. |

Extending the Fun |

Many campers who were not originally signed up for the entire season are opting for extending their stay at Beth Tfiloh Camps. If you are interested, please call our registrar at 410-517-3451 to see if your child’s bunk and bus can accommodate the extension. |

Visit from the ACA |

On Thursday, July 15th of week 4, Beth Tfiloh Camps will undergo a visit from American Camp Association Visitors. |
