Cheerleading PDF Print
Hello all! My name is Christina Bailey and this is my first summer as the cheerleading instructor at camp. I have cheered for seven years and am so excited to be working at Beth Tfiloh. I recently graduated from Towson University with a degree in French Education. In cheer, the girls and I have been learning about motions, stretching, and have even learned a few cheers. In the following weeks, we may possibly cheer for a sports camp game! I look forward to the rest of the summer!
Carnival PDF Print
Next Friday, July 9th, we will be having our annual carnival. Carnival features amusements, rides, games, and prizes spread over the entire camp. If you think you might need to pick your camper up early, the best time to do so will be during lunch. Otherwise, your camper might have to miss a portion of carnival as it takes extra time to get campers to you as bunks travel freely around carnival activities. While campers are still well supervised, locating an exact bunk can take upward of 15 minutes. We also discourage parents from visiting camp during carnival.
Check Under Each Week For News PDF Print
Because each week brings new campers beginning their enrollment, we encourage camper families to check previous weeks for news and information that might not appear for multiple weeks.
aca accreditation visit PDF Print
Every third summer, any camp accredited by the American Camp Association must be visited by an American Camp Association visitor to make certain a camp is in compliance with over 350 pages of standards. Beth Tfiloh Camps takes pride in being an early member of this association and will continue to do so. Camp will be visited on Thursday, July 15th. As part of the visit, Visitors will walk around camp to observe and talk to staff and campers to get a feel for how we operate. We’ve scored extremely well on our”previsit” and will let you know how we do when we receive our score in the fall.
Extending the Fun PDF Print
Many campers who were not originally signed up for the entire season are opting for extending their stay at Beth Tfiloh Camps. If you are interested, please call our registrar at 410-517-3451 to see if your child’s bunk and bus can accommodate the extension.
